This award is to be presented by the Association to a consumer of rehabilitation services who has achieved a demonstrated accomplishment of significant individual empowerment. The provider agency should demonstrate how they have worked with the consumer to gain employment, promotion, and/or independent living in the community through the empowerment of that individual. This award is intended to show how you can "beat the odds" when given the opportunity and encouragement.

Persons with Disabilities ... If you are between the ages of 18 and 64, live in Chester County, are disabled according to the American’s with Disabilities Act and need transportation, you may qualify for the Person’s with Disabilities Program. The cost is 15% of the full fare based on a one way trip. PwD is the payer of last resort and does not replace or supplement any funding you currently may be using with ROVER. To request an application you may call our Exton ROVER office at 610-594-3911 option 7 or stop by our office located at 495 Thomas Jones Way, Suite 304, Exton, PA 19341. For further information please contact our office. (Disability means, with respect to an individual, a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activies of such an individual; a record of such an impairment; or being regarded as having such an impairment. Major life activities means functions such as caring for one’s self, performing manual tasks, walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, breathing, learning, and work.)
